Photographic Exhibition at the UTEA
As mentioned previously, I shared a photographic exhibition a fortnight ago with another photographer - Martin Clarke - who showed images that he had taken over many years, mainly landscapes, patterns, shapes and shadows. He also exhibited photographs taken locally and a video filmed locally at Tyley Bottom. I exhibited mainly birds and a small section of mammals.
The exhibition started with a short viewing on Friday evening (16th) and then was open on the following Saturday and Sunday during the day. Visiting was subject to a strict COVID-19 protocol.
I was pleasantly surprised at the high rate of attendance, and also the number of people who ordered mounted or framed prints of my photographs which took me the best part of the following two weeks to print and mount etc. It was, however, worth the effort as I will be able to make a significant donation to Wotton's 'Under the Edge Arts' centre - our main cultural organisation supporting a wide range of different activities.
