WILCOCK

Buzzards are probably our most frequently seen raptor as they soar in the sky or are spotted perched on a fence or gatepost.  One of my favourite sites is a nature reserve in Pembrokeshire where they can be seen quartering the reed beds.  

 

Some of these photographs were taken at sites where it was possible to approach close enough to get a decent flight picture, others from a hide, including some from a commercial hide at a feeding station. The pictures of buzzards feeding on carrion or quarrelling were taken at the latter.
